Oglesby is a city in Coryell County, Texas, United States. The population was 484 at the 2010 census.[1] It is part of the Killeen–Temple–Fort Hood Metropolitan Statistical Area.
Geography

As of the census[4] of 2000, there were 458 people, 174 households, and 120 families residing in the city. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the city was 91.70% White, 1.53% Native American, 6.55% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 11.35% of the population.
There were 174 households, out of which 36.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.1% were married couples living together, 11.5% had a female householder with no husband present, and 30.5% were non-families. 28.7% of all households were made up of individuals, and 19.5% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.63 and the average family size was 3.24.
In the city, the population was spread out, with 28.4% under the age of 18, 8.1% from 18 to 24, 26.9% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 13.1% who were 65 years of age or older. Education
The city is served by the Oglesby Independent School District and is home to the Oglesby School Tigers.
