Oak Park is a census-designated place (CDP) in Clark County, Indiana, United States. The population was 5,379 at the 2000 census.
Geography

Demographics
As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 5,379 people, 2,081 households, and 1,569 families residing in the CDP. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the CDP was 87.38% White, 10.49% African American, 0.15% Native American, 0.39% Asian, 0.02% Pacific Islander, 0.26% from other races, and 1.32% from two or more races. There were 2,081 households, out of which 33.2% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 60.2% were married couples living together, 11.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.6% were non-families. 20.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 7.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.58 and the average family size was 2.97.
