McIntyre is a town in Wilkinson County, Georgia, United States. The population was 575 in 2020.

History

McIntyre was founded as a depot on the Central of Georgia Railway.[1] The community was named after Thomas McIntyre, a railroad official.[2] The Georgia General Assembly incorporated McIntyre as a town in 1910.[3]
