Second mast added in 1956 and converted to longwave transmissions.[19] Demolished in 1998 and replaced by taller single mast (see above).[20]
7 (Temporary) Longwave transmitter, Vatnsendahæð Vatnsendahæð, Vatnsendi, Kópavogur 1991 2021 Double-guyed masts Template:Cvt Requisitioned from Iceland Telecom as a temporary solution for longwave broadcasts.[21] Two masts forming a T-antenna. LW broadcasts ceased in 1997,[22] and was demolished in 2021.[23]
