Since the early days of the Baptist tradition, ecclesiastical organizations and local churches have adopted common statements of faith as the basis for interdependency and cooperativity among the local churches. [1] The following is a list of declarations and confessions of faith, including the Four Major Baptist Confessions of Faith (First London Confession, Second London Confession, Orthodox Creed, and Standard Confession) that have been important to the development of the Baptist theology throughout centuries.
