La Prairie is a village in Adams County, Illinois, United States. The population was 42 at the 2020 census. It is part of the Quincy, IL–MO Micropolitan Statistical Area.

As of the 2020 census[3] there were 42 people, 28 households, and 21 families residing in the village. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the village was 92.86% White, 2.38% from other races, and 4.76% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 2.38% of the population.

There were 28 households, out of which 39.3% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 71.43% were married couples living together, and 25.00% were non-families. 25.00% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.43% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.71 and the average family size was 2.29.
