Kennington is a suburb of Bendigo, a city in Victoria, Australia. The suburb is located Script error: No such module "convert". south-east of the Bendigo city centre and at the 2016 census had a population of 5,649.[1] The suburb is home to the Kennington Reservoir.[2]
History
Kennington is known for the orphanage called the Convent Of The Good Shepard opened in 1905 next door to Kennington Primary School in 1901. The Post Office opened on 1 May 1913 and closed in 1972.[3]
