Fulton Township is a civil township of Gratiot County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 2,484 at the 2020 census.[1]

Demographics

The racial makeup of the township was 96.77% White, 0.17% African American, 0.46% Native American, 0.04% Asian, 1.08% from other races, and 1.49% from two or more races. There were 884 households, out of which 33.6% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 64.4% were married couples living together, 8.1% had a female householder with no husband present, and 24.1% were non-families. 19.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 9.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.68 and the average family size was 3.06.
In the township the population was spread out, with 26.4% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 28.8% from 25 to 44, 24.3% from 45 to 64, and 12.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
