Purpose of use

The image will provide the most effective illustration of the current banknotes used in the People's Republic of China to the general public, especially inbound travellers, who are not yet familiar with the Renminbi currency.

Replaceable?

There is no free equivalent of the currency, so the image cannot be replaced by a free image.

Other information

The use of this currency image in its present form (low resolution and most are partial images) will not aid in any potential illegal acts such as counterfeiting.
