Here we see plaster veneer in its natural mottled white color. These walls had been worked to a glassy finish. As the plaster set progressively harder, the walls were moistened with clear water, and firmly troweled. This created a very hard and somewhat reflective finish, which can be painted, wallpapered, or left bare.
