| Purpose of use |
This screenshot shows an alternate game ending to the game's normal ending. This alternate ending is achieved if the player completes the game on the hardest difficult level. In the normal ending, Mona Sax dies; in the alternate ending, she survives. Also showing the graphic novel cut scenes used in the game to push the story forward. The developers commented that they were more effective and less costly to use than fully animated cinematics. The panels also allows players to interpret them for themselves, along with their nuances. |
