Description: One of two notes, called the "murder notes", found near the body of Mary Phagan, the pencil factory girl deemed to have been killed by her boss, Leo Frank, in April 1913 in Atlanta, Georgia. The notes were widely published in local media at the time, and are therefore in the public domain in the United States.
