This picture of Theodoros Kolokotronis was scanned from a personal set of cards that belonged to my family depicting scenes of the Greek War of Independence, which consists on a series of portraits about the revolution heroes as well as main events such as major battles etc. that are present one of the Hellenic Parliament main halls. This cards collection dates from 1928 and were a sort of personal kit of the main popular engravings of the epoque called "laiki gravoura".
