Though this image is subject to copyright, its use is covered by the U.S. fair use laws because:

1. It illustrates an educational article about Kingsbury High School, which the logo is associated being the badge of a forerunner of the school (Kingsbury County School).
2. It is a low resolution image and thus not suitable for production of counterfeit goods and the institution that it represents no longer exists.
3. The badge is not used in such a way that a reader would be confused into believing that the article is written or authorized by Kingsbury High School.
4. It is not replaceable with an accurate, uncopyrighted or freely copyrighted image of comparable educational value.
