Farmerville is a town in and the parish seat of Union Parish, Louisiana, United States.[1] It has also been known as Farmersville.[2] The population was 3,860 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Monroe Metropolitan Statistical Area. The town is spread about Lake D'Arbonne, a popular fishing and boating waterway.

The climate in this area is characterized by hot, humid summers and generally mild to cool winters. According to the Köppen Climate Classification system, Farmerville has a humid subtropical climate, abbreviated "Cfa" on climate maps.[3]

2022 tornado
On December 13, 2022, the northern part of the town was struck by an EF3 tornado that damaged or destroyed structures and injured 14 people. The tornado caused $1.2 million in damage, with most of the damage coming from the town.[4]
