Ensdorf (Script error: No such module "IPA".) is a municipality in the district of Saarlouis, in Saarland, Germany. It is on the right bank of the river Saar, opposite Saarlouis, approximately Script error: No such module "convert". northwest of Saarbrücken.

In February 2023, the American chip manufacturer Wolfspeed announced it would build its first European factory in Germany[1] on the site of a former coal plant in Ensdorf with ZF Friedrichshafen as a coinvestor.[2]

Landmarks

The Saar Polygon is a walk-in monument situated at the former Bergwerk Saar coal mine, completed in 2016 to commemorate the region's coal mining industry.[3]
