Ellis Township is a civil township of Cheboygan County in the U.S. state of Michigan. The population was 557 at the 2020 census.[1]

The racial makeup of the township was 96.92% White, 0.19% African American, 1.16% Native American, 0.19% Asian, and 1.54% from two or more races.
