Career

Chambers's first job was as a correspondent at Al Gore's television network, Current TV.[11] She also was a news correspondent for Entertainment Tonight, E! News Now and Access Hollywood.[12][13] She acted in the film The Game Plan and in the television shows Criminal Minds, 2 Broke Girls, and Shark.[14] In 2020, she was named to University of Texas - Austin "Outstanding Alumni" list.[15]

Chambers is the proprietor of BIRD Bakery, which opened in San Antonio in 2012 and in Dallas in 2016.[14] Its baked goods are based on recipes from her grandmother's kitchen.[12][16]

In 2019, two employees of BIRD Bakery, who were apparently acting independently, were charged with the theft of a total of over $120,000 from the business over several years.[17][18]

Chambers was a guest judge on the Food Network's "Best Baker in America" in June 2019.[19] and on Chopped Sweets for episodes 105 ("Tiny Treats"), 106 ("Tough Cookies") and 107 ("Million Dollar Desserts") in February and March 2020.Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

During the Armie Hammer scandal, documents were released that suggested his ex-wife was involved with the main accusers. Based on messages posted by Effie (the main accuser against Armie Hammer) in 2022, there are allegations that Hammer's ex-wife Elizabeth Chambers collaborated with the accusers. The messages, which were posted on Effie's Instagram account, show that Chambers allegedly asked Effie to formally file a complaint against Hammer. While Effie accused Chambers in a statement of wanting to "profit" from the situation. [25][26]

Personal life

In 2010, Chambers married actor Armie Hammer. They have two children.[27][28][29] Armie's mother Dru later acknowledged that Armie had infidelities.[30] Chambers and Hammer separated in July 2020. The same year, Chambers filed for divorce, which was finalized in June 2023.[31][32] She resides in the Cayman Islands with their children.[33][34]
