Dolson Township is one of fifteen townships in Clark County, Illinois, USA. As of the 2020 census, its population was 353 and it contained 204 housing units.[1]

Geography

The racial makeup of the township was 98.02% White, 0.00% African American, 0.28% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 1.70% from two or more races. There were 130 households, out of which 24.60% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.85% were married couples living together, 30.00% had a female householder with no spouse present, and 6.15% were non-families. 6.20% of all households were made up of individuals, and 6.20% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.39 and the average family size was 2.14.

The township's age distribution consisted of 10.3% under the age of 18, 18.3% from 18 to 24, 24.7% from 25 to 44, 17.7% from 45 to 64, and 28.9% who were 65 years of age or older. The median age was 29.0 years. For every 100 females, there were 137.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there were 119.7 males.

The median income for a household in the township was $57,386, and the median income for a family was $64,000. Males had a median income of $37,083 versus $21,932 for females.
