Deleni, Constanța

The villages comprising the commune are:
- Deleni (historical name: Ienidja, Enigea or Enige; Template:Langx)
- Petroșani (historical names: Chioseler, Template:Langx)
- Pietreni (historical names: Cocargea until 1964, Template:Langx)
- Șipotele (historical names: Ghiolpunar, Template:Langx)
The territory of the commune also includes the former villages of Poenița (historical name: Borungea, Template:Langx), located at Script error: No such module "Coordinates"., disestablished by Presidential Decree in 1977, and Furca (historical name: Becter), located at Script error: No such module "Coordinates"..
Demographics
At the 2021 census, Deleni had 2,388 inhabitants. At the 2011 census, there were 2,272 Romanians (98.31%), 10 Turks (0.43%), 28 Tatars (1.21%), 1 other (0.04%).Template:Fact
Climate
Deleni has a Humid Subtropical Climate (Cfa). It receives the most abundant rainfall in June, with an average precipitation of 69 mm; and the most scarce rainfall in February, with an average precipitation of 38 mm. Pietreni
At the 2021 census, Pietreni village had a population of 799.[1]
Pietreni is situated along National Road 3, about Template:Cvt west of the county seat, Constanța. It has an average elevation of Template:Cvt above sea level.[2]
