Crab Orchard is a village in Johnson County, Nebraska, United States. As of the 2020 census, the village population was 47.[1]
History
Crab Orchard was platted in 1883 when the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad was extended to that point.[2] It was named from a grove of crabapple trees near the town site.[3]

2010 census
As of the census[6] of 2010, there were 38 people, 21 households, and 8 families residing in the village. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. There were 21 households, of which 9.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 33.3% were married couples living together, 4.8% had a male householder with no wife present, and 61.9% were non-families. 52.4% of all households were made up of individuals, and 28.6% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 1.81 and the average family size was 2.88.
The median age in the village was 55.5 years. 13.2% of residents were under the age of 18; 2.5% were between the ages of 18 and 24; 15.8% were from 25 to 44; 31.5% were from 45 to 64; and 36.8% were 65 years of age or older. The gender makeup of the village was 44.7% male and 55.3% female.
