History
The College City post office was established in 1873. Pierce Christian College located to the town on land willed to the college by Andrew Pierce in 1875; but it subsequently left in 1896, and its facilities were taken over by the local high school district (see https://www.hmdb.org/m.asp?m=41810). Currently, there is no college in College City.[3]

College City first appeared as a census designated place in the 2010 U.S. Census.[5]
The 2020 United States census reported that College City had a population of 292. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of College City was 100 (34.2%) White, 0 (0.0%) African American, 6 (2.1%) Native American, 3 (1.0%) Asian, 2 (0.7%) Pacific Islander, 108 (37.0%) from other races, and 73 (25.0%) from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 201 persons (68.8%).[6]
The whole population lived in households. There were 93 households, out of which 24 (25.8%) had children under the age of 18 living in them, 50 (53.8%) were married-couple households, 3 (3.2%) were cohabiting couple households, 25 (26.9%) had a female householder with no partner present, and 15 (16.1%) had a male householder with no partner present. 22 households (23.7%) were one person, and 12 (12.9%) were one person aged 65 or older. The average household size was 3.14.[6] There were 65 families (69.9% of all households).[7]
