The population as of the 2010 census was 811.[1]
Geography
The CDP is located in southern Halifax County, along U.S. Route 501, which leads north Template:Convert to South Boston and south Template:Convert to Roxboro, North Carolina.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the CDP has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert, or 0.35%, are water.[1] It is drained by tributaries of the Dan River and is part of the Roanoke River watershed.
