Template:Short description Template:Use dmy dates Chit (Template:Langx or Cit) is a Sanskrit word meaning consciousness.[1] It is a core principle in all ancient spiritual traditions originating from the Indian subcontinent, including Hinduism, Sikhism and Jainism.
