Category really needed?
Is this category really needed? Most lists are never complete, everything here is a work in progress, so most lists would need to be placed in this category. Peter S. 23:13, 23 October 2005 (UTC)
To add to this: what's the criteria for membership in this category? I ask because I recently finished combing through Wikipedia for all legendary creatures that weren't already on the List of legendary creatures and think that list is as complete as any Wikipedia list can be. Must resist temptation...no, cannot!
If no one else will mention it, I will. If "Incomplete Lists" is not added to the list of incomplete lists, then it will continue to deserve inclusion, and this project will never be complete. Plus, it will make all the cyborgs' hearts explode.
If we do that, though, this list might someday be complete. So it would be better simply to leave a statement like "this list can never be complete unless it lists itself, in which case it may no longer be accurate (because this list might be completed)"...
