Category:Precisionist Wikipedians

Precisionism is a philosophy held by some Wikipedians who argue that the emphasis should not be on a blanket policy of including articles, nor a blanket policy of deleting or excluding articles, because neither philosophy evaluates the content of the actual articles, which is what's relevant. They are therefore called Precisionists because they believe that articles should be precisely within policy, in terms of neutrality, verifiability, reliable sources, and notability, and whether they should be kept, changed, or removed entirely can only be decided on a case-by-case basis. Furthermore, when such decisions are made, policy should then be precisely clarified to avoid future disputes.
