Branchville is a former town in St. Clair County, Alabama in the United States. As of the 2000 census, the population of the town was 825.
Current status
It was incorporated in 1968. Citizens voted to dissolve the town in 2007 and the community was annexed into the neighboring town of Odenville.[1][2]

As of the census[5] of 2000, there were 825 people, 319 households, and 256 families residing in the town. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the town was 97.09% White, 0.36% Black or African American, 1.21%, 0.48% from other races, and 0.85% from two or more races. 1.94% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 319 households, out of which 30.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 67.4% were married couples living together, 9.7% had a female householder with no husband present, and 19.7% were non-families. 18.2% of all households were made up of individuals, and 11.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.59 and the average family size was 2.90.
In the town, the population was spread out, with 25.2% under the age of 18, 5.7% from 18 to 24, 27.9% from 25 to 44, 26.3% from 45 to 64, and 14.9% who were 65 years of age or older.
