Bogdanovich (Template:Langx) is a town in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, located on the Kunara River (right tributary of the Pyshma), Script error: No such module "convert". east of Yekaterinburg. Population: Template:Ru-census2010 Template:Replace (2002 Census);[1] Template:Replace (1989 Soviet census).[2]

History

It was founded in 1883–1885 as a settlement around the Bogdanovich railway station, which opened in 1885. Town status was granted in 1947.[3]

Sports

The bandy team Fakel[4] plays in the 2nd highest division of the Russian Bandy League. Their home arena has a capacity of 3,000.[5]
