As of the census[3] of 2000, there were 126 people, 58 households, and 40 families residing in the town. The population density was Script error: No such module "convert".. The racial makeup of the town was 92.06% White, 1.59% Black or African American, 5.56% Native American, and 0.79% from two or more races. 0.79% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
There were 58 households, out of which 22.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 58.6% were married couples living together, 8.6% had a female householder with no husband present, and 31.0% were non-families. 29.3% of all households were made up of individuals, and 17.2% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.17 and the average family size was 2.68.
In the town, the population was spread out, with 19.0% under the age of 18, 9.5% from 18 to 24, 19.0% from 25 to 44, 23.8% from 45 to 64, and 28.6% who were 65 years of age or older. Transportation
While there is no transit service in Ben Lomond, intercity bus service is provided by Jefferson Lines in nearby Lockesburg.[4]
