History
Anatone was first settled in 1878 by Daniel McIvor and Charles Isecke. It was named for a Nez Perce woman.[3] It is a working class agricultural area near the tripoint with Idaho and Oregon, primarily growing wheat. The only commercial service available in the area (as of January 2025) is Millie's Grille, located on State Highway 129 (building formerly Anatone Trading Post & Cafe).Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

Demographics
