As of the 2010 census, its population was 3,892 and it contained 1,614 housing units.[1]

It was named for Abraham Adams, a pioneer settler.[2]

According to the 2010 census, the township has a total area of Template:Convert, of which Template:Convert (or 99.94%) is land and Template:Convert (or 0.06%) is water.[1]
