Bill 1745 is a middle aged amateur history buff in Southern California, but originally from Rochester, New York. I work for a government agency in Los Angeles.

Conributions include Rochester, Monroe County, New York, The Pulteney Association, The Holland Land Company, The Holland Purchase, The Morris Reserve, The Mill Yard Tract, The Triangle Tract, and History of New York:Opening Western New York.

The above contributions all involve western New York State, USA. I got started doing this when I ran across the Wiki article on Rochester, New York. I knew a lot about the early history of Rochester and wanted to contribute. Once I was more or less satisfied that I had an accurate recounting of that history, I moved on to the other links to provide depth and detail.

I think in a prior life I must have been a historian. I just love getting my hands dirty with the facts and resolving ambiguities and conflicts.

Any errors in my submissions are entirely mine, and I would greatly appreciate them being pointed out to me.
