Scott book
The Scott book, which is a lot of the sourcing here, is self-published. Does this still meet the high-quality RS standard in the modern FA criteria? I will also leave a neutrally-worded message at WT:FAC to get eyes from the FA crowd here. Hog Farm Talk 01:50, 20 February 2025 (UTC)
- By the way he's described (LA Times piece (a), LA Times piece (b), LA Times piece (c), Conference of California Historical Societies award citation and LAist piece), I think he's an expert on the Ridge Route. Based on this, I'd say he is a marginally reliable source per WP:SPS. High-quality is another matter entirely: I found citations in Script error: No such module "doi". and Template:Isbn, and a mention in an ASCE newsletter, but as I'm unfamiliar with the subject area I'll refrain from passing judgement here. - There are a handful of citations here, but not that many. I wonder if this is a topic where you need to check citations in government reports, though. Jo-Jo Eumerus (talk) 16:13, 21 February 2025 (UTC)
The header color in the infobox should be tan, not gray
The header color in the {{infobox road}} and {{infobox road small}} templates when |state=CA|name=Ridge Route is present should be tan (DDCBA4), not gray; just like how it is in U.S. Route 66 and U.S. Route 80 in Arizona. Please fix it. 2600:1700:6180:6290:95DA:D163:32B9:5611 (talk) 17:10, 17 June 2025 (UTC)
