What's here is interesting - I thought I'd give a quick advance review.

It seems to me that it's been established that trolling and disruptiveness is cause for banning (from Jimbo, community, etc) - the controversial question is whether this judgement should be made by sysops, quickpolls, arbcom, or all of the above - and whether certain individuals are in fact a serious problem.

Personally, I am more interested in ruling on the specific question of Lir being disruptive, rather than the general issue of "whether a pattern of bad-faith edits [...] constitutes vandalism". I doubt the second will achieve the result you desire, frankly. Martin 09:57, 5 Jul 2004 (UTC)
