Burg Eltz is an authentic medievalcastle nestled in the hills above the Moselle River between Koblenz and Trier, Germany, which is still owned by a branch of the same family that lived there in the 12th century. Some parts of the castle are open to the public, including its treasury (separate entrance fee). Burg Eltz can be reached by car or an easy hike from the Moselkern train station.[1]
