Simon's nickname among his Russian speaking friends is "Cema," which sounds like "Syomah." Cema has an explosive sense of humor. If the Monster,Inc'ish way of capturing power of innocent laughter were available in Real Life (RL), then Cema would have become a Power Producer.
He used to work on his Ph.D. at Department of Computer Science of University of Maryland. Cema has friends all over the world, although the most of them do not get to see him for years.
One of his friends in Washington, D.C. works around cadavers. She is, nevertheless, warm and friendly. Just with a slight touch of a Dark Side. One might wonder if she gets the other way around sometimes.
A couple of Cema's friends finally managed to convince him to move to a commercial job in Boston area (Read: steal him all for themselves) several years ago.
There are some people in New Jersey, USA, who still remember Cema despite getting separated in time and space. One of them has something to do with Italy and a man.
