Improvement suggestion for first prism figure.

This is a really great animation, and I can't say how happy I was to see it. One minor improvement- you should additively blend the the individual 'spectrum waves' to give an even tighter effect- the beam will start white because all of the overdraw as it enters the prism, and then the individual wavelengths will emerge in their true colour once they are sufficiently far out. The effect also suggests combination of these wavelengths causes white.

Seeing different lights on the optic scale

So what if my eyes pick up on different levels of light being able to see what normal people don't especially beings I haven't had cataract surgery done and I'm only 31 Dmarie31 (talk) 07:03, 5 January 2025 (UTC)Reply

what if I also said I could tell you exactly what it looks like when a beam of light is reflected back to it's original source that it also creates a type of almost gold light just as the reflected light hits a mirror at the perfect angle making it bounce back on itself. minor (not just?) grammar fix

"Like all types of electromagnetic radiation, visible light propagates by massless elementary particles called photons that represents the quanta of electromagnetic field, and…"

☞ "represent*s*" should read: "represent" (i.e., the photon*s* (plural) represen*t* the quanta …) 84.114.22.75 (talk) 18:57, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply

Template:Respond I'm pretty sure. @Johnjbarton if I can trouble you to check my work to make sure I phrased it the best way? Remsense ‥  19:27, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
Well I got carried away and rewrote that bit. Now I can ask you to check me ;-) I will add something about geometrical optics. Johnjbarton (talk) 20:30, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
That is an improvement. I made a minor change in your rewrite. Constant314 (talk) 21:31, 3 April 2025 (UTC)Reply
