Hi. You can read mw:Help:Extension:MassMessage#Opting out for instructions for opting out of mass message deliveries. The question of whether deliveries should be opt-in or opt-out is left to individual wiki communities. It's a discussion that's long overdue here, in my opinion. Please just remember that most users here are acting in good faith and if you remove yourself from a particular distribution list (such as the DC invite list), that removal alone should be completely sufficient to stop receiving those particular messages. --MZMcBride (talk) 02:38, 30 December 2013 (UTC)
