I discovered Wikipedia only recently, and I really like it, so I decided to sign up and start to contribute here and there as I explore my various interests. I guess I have a lot of them, for example

  • Optical engineering (part of my job, I have M.S. in Optics from University of Rochester)
  • Music (one of my serious hobbies, singer/songwriter, guitarist)
  • Aviation (private pilot license, flight & spaceflight simulator fanatic, combat flight simulators too, though I'm really a peaceful guy)
  • Languages (useful but not fluent skills in French and Japanese)
  • Reading (many areas, especially science, history, flying, SF)
  • Travel (as part of my job as an international distribution manager, sometimes for fun too)
  • Science and technology (especially physics and space sciences - I was a physics major)

Probably more, but I guess that's enough! I live and work in central Massachusetts.
