Sarah Lewitinn (born February 3, 1980), also known by her nickname Ultragrrrl, is an American record producer, DJ, blogger, and briefly worked on a subsidiary record label, Stolen Transmission. In 2006, New York magazine included her in a listicle entitled "The Influentials: Music".[1]
Biography
Lewitinn briefly managed bands stellastarr*[2] and My Chemical Romance,[3] prior to their first major record deals. She also ran a blog, Ultragrrrl.com and wrote a column, "Making out with Ultragrrrl."[4] In 2005, Lewitinn partnered with Island Def Jam and Rob Stevenson to start a subsidiary record label Stolen Transmission.
Lewitinn has published two books: "The Pocket DJ", and "Pocket Karaoke".
