Although I was born and raised in Canada, I repudiate the notion that I, or the results of my labours, are the property of any government. Hence, my unwholehearted willingness to be regarded as a "Canadian".

I live in the countryside with my wife and numerous cats and dogs. I work mainly in software development and system administration, and I do a little university teaching now and then.
