The picture was taken from the Klein Matterhorn towards the direction of Italy. It is therefore inexact to label this as "Swiss Alps", as except for the immediate foreground, it is almost entirely showing Italian Alps with French Alps in the background (you can clearly see the Mont Blanc at the border with France and Italy). I grew up in the area and know very well the ski resort.
