Metal has a very low resistance to thermal conduction, but can withstand high temperatures. Removed sentence on dry cleaning since this shouldn't be a how-to. Removed sentence saying that ironing could melt fibers. An iron is not going to melt metal, and would damage non-metallic fibers first.
