He was a [[Progressive Conservative Party of Ontario|Progressive Conservative]] member of the [[Legislative Assembly of Ontario]] from 1995 to 2014, representing the [[electoral district (Canada)|riding]]s of Halton North and later [[Halton (provincial electoral district)|Halton]]. Chudleigh is the grandson of [[Thomas Laird Kennedy]], who served as [[Premier of Ontario]] in 1949.&lt;br /&gt;

He later worked for the Ministry of Agriculture, and owned an [[IGA (supermarkets)|IGA]] store in the Niagara Region. From 1980 to 1995, he was the Executive Vice-President of the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Ontario Food Processors Association&amp;#039;&amp;#039;. His brother Tom Chudleigh is the owner of Chudleigh&amp;#039;s Limited, a commercial bakery and farm based in the Milton area whose frozen desserts are sold by grocery retailers throughout North America.&lt;br /&gt;
