This small wood was planted in 1984 with [[Fraxinus excelsior|ash]], [[Acer campestre|field maple]] and [[Quercus robur|oak]]. Birds include [[Sylvia atricapilla|blackcaps]] and [[Phylloscopus collybita|chiffchaffs]], and there are [[Aglais io|peacock]], [[Anthocharis cardamines|orange-tip]] and [[Pararge aegeria|speckled wood]] butterflies.<ref name=WTBCN/>
