One of his earlier television appearances was as Coleman, part of a kidnapping gang in the hard-hitting police drama &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[The Professionals (TV series)|The Professionals]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;; episode &amp;#039;&amp;#039;The Acorn Syndrome&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (1980).
