&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Robert Kerr Chisholm&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (May 26, 1819 &amp;amp;ndash; February 27, 1899) was a political figure in [[Oakville, Ontario]], serving as mayor in 1866.&lt;br /&gt;

He was born in [[Nelson, Ontario|Nelson Township]] in [[Upper Canada]] in 1819, the son of [[William Chisholm (Upper Canada)|William Chisholm]],&amp;lt;ref name=&amp;quot;Brown2010&amp;quot;&amp;gt;{{cite book|last=Brown|first=Ron|title=From Queenston to Kingston: The Hidden Heritage of Lake Ontario&amp;#039;s Shoreline|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=Xt0d-ljV0fAC&amp;amp;pg=PA77|accessdate=13 September 2012|date=2010-05-31|publisher=Dundurn|isbn=9781459704787|page=77}}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; and was educated in [[Hamilton, Ontario|Hamilton]]. Chisholm served as reeve of [[Trafalgar Township, Ontario|Trafalgar Township]] in 1854 and 1856 and served on the Oakville town council from 1857 to 1871 and 1879 to 1880.
