&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Moturakau&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; is one of 15 [[island]]s in the [[Aitutaki]] [[atoll]] of the [[Cook Islands]]. It is located in the southeast of Aitutaki Lagoon between the larger islands of [[Rapota]] and [[Tekopua]], six kilometres to the southeast of the main island of Aitutaki. Moturakau served as a [[leper colony]] from the 1930s to 1967.&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{cite book |title=South Pacific Handbook |author=David Stanley |publisher=Moon |location=Emeryville, CA |date=2000 |page=337 |edition=7th }}&amp;lt;/ref&amp;gt; More recently, it was home to the &amp;#039;Sharks&amp;#039; for four years of the UK reality TV programme &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Shipwrecked: Battle of the Islands]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039; and was also used for &amp;#039;&amp;#039;[[Survivor: Cook Islands]]&amp;#039;&amp;#039;, the 13th season of the [[Survivor (American TV series)|American version of &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Survivor&amp;#039;&amp;#039;]].&lt;br /&gt;
