It is the seat of the [[gmina]] (administrative district) called [[Gmina Lubichowo]].{{TERYT}} It lies approximately {{convert|15|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south-west of [[Starogard Gdański]] and {{convert|58|km|mi|0|abbr=on}} south of the regional capital [[Gdańsk]]. It is located within historic region of [[Pomerania]].&lt;br /&gt;
