&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Labirent&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; ([[Labyrinth]] in English) is a [[progressive rock]]/[[progressive metal|metal]] [[List of progressive metal artists|band]] formed in [[Ankara]], [[Turkey]], in 1987{{citation needed|date=January 2014}}. In the early period of rock music in Turkey, when the style was considered strange, Serhat Koçak and Yavuz Selim Sarıcı founded Labirent and introduced progressive rock to the Turkish music market{{citation needed|date=January 2014}}. In 1992, guitarist Volkan Unluer joined the band, creating its present shape. They achieved success{{citation needed|date=January 2014}} in 1997 with their first album &amp;#039;&amp;#039;Çağın Harikası&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (&amp;quot;Miracle of the Century&amp;quot;). They made a [[symphonic rock]] [[List of symphonic metal bands|performance]] “which was a first in Turkey”{{citation needed|date=December 2011}} performing with a Gazi University Symphony [[Orchestra]] on the Turkish National TV Channel [[Turkish Radio and Television Corporation|TRT]]. Labirent’s songs themes are mostly freedom, [[liberty]], life and [[human rights]].
